This is a screw jack that fine-tunes the height of formwork and scaffolding. It has a sturdy U-shaped head that holds beams securely. The head sits on a solid mild steel bar, and the nut turns smoothly and easily. Solid and hollow versions are available. A corrosion-resistant finish gives it a long working life. The bar comes in two thicknesses and the jack nut is malleable, so it turns freely under load. Used for beam and slab decking.
